The Austin College Chess Club provides a welcoming space for students to learn, play, and discuss the game of chess. The chess club meets Monday and Thursday evenings at 7 pm in the WCC Living Room. Players of all skill levels and observers are welcome to attend any of our events, even if you have never played chess before! In addition to meetings during the week, the chess club also hosts and co-hosts multiple events on campus, such as watch parties and tournaments. The chess club also sends skilled chess players to compete in local chess tournaments in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to test their skills.
