Many professors request for their students to upload their work in Moodle as a PDF, rather than a Word document. Here are a couple ways to save/export your .docx to .pdf:
- Once you have finalized your .docx file (Microsoft Word document), navigate to the “File” tab located on the left on the top menu bar.
- In the “File” menu or tab, you have two ways to export a .docx to .pdf:
In the “Save As” tab, select what folder you would like to save the file in. Once you have selected the correct folder, a window will show to edit the file name. Under, select what file type you would like to save it as. The default file type is .docx; here you have many file types to choose from. In this scenario, you will want to change it to .pdf.
In the “Export” tab, select the “Create PDF/XPS” button. Here, it will show the same window, allowing you to change file destinations and file name.
